Laboratory Safety Coordinator

The University of Vermont is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented Lab Safety Coordinator in the department of Environmental Health & Safety. This position improves safety at UVM by working with campus personnel to implement UVM safety programs, providing chemical and other safety training, conducting hazard assessments and safety inspections, developing risk mitigation procedures, managing wastes, and prepare for emergencies. Candidates with excellent communication skills, a bachelor's degree in related science, knowledge of (V)OSHA regulations, and laboratory processes and procedures are encouraged to apply.
