This position requires an individual who can design and deliver science and math methods courses that explicitly address STEM requirements in teacher preparation and align with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS), Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Standards. The role ensures that pre-service teachers are prepared to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics effectively into K-12 classrooms. These efforts emphasize sustainability, climate literacy, and place-based learning, and offer unique opportunities for collaboration across the College and with regional schools.

Applicants must hold an earned Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education or a closely related field by the start of the appointment. We especially welcome candidates who are dedicated to serving a diverse student body, including first-generation students, and who bring scholarly and professional expertise that will enhance our mission.

Ramapo College of New Jersey, a public liberal arts institution, seeks a dynamic and forward-thinking faculty member whose teaching, research, and service reflect a deep commitment to the College's core academic pillars: international, intercultural, interdisciplinary, and experiential learning. We welcome candidates who are passionate about integrating emerging technologies and AI into their pedagogy and scholarship, and who bring both personal and professional dedication to student success. The ideal candidate is energized by community engagement and committed to educating students from the broad range of backgrounds Ramapo proudly serves- including first-generation college students, as well as bi- and multilingual and multicultural learners of all ages (OR including first-generation college students and those from racially and linguistically diverse communities). If you believe education should be inclusive, empowering, and transformative, we invite you to help shape the next chapter of Ramapo's mission. Join us in building a future where every student thrives and your impact resonates far beyond the classroom.
